Benoit Pilon was the director of the award-winning The Necessities of Life (2008), starring Natar Ungalaaq.
We are looking for young Inuit actors and actresses between 16 and 25 years-old. We are also looking for two Inuit men to play carvers: one around 75 y.-old, the other 40 y.-old.

Synopsis
Carmen goes to Iqaluit to her husband’s bedside, Gilles, a Qallunaat worker seriously injured. After Gilles’s death, she decides to stay to try to understand what happened. Her world and convictions collapse as she discovers an unfamiliar country and her husband’s secret life. Noah, Gilles’ Inuk friend, will try to help Carmen, only to find out that he is himself closely connected to her drama.
